Discover Prompt Day 22, Tempo – Haiku

Please watch your tempo!

Lento, Largo, slow your pace!

Andante, slow down!

(Side note: It’s wiser to respond slowly than react foolishly. In the wake of Covid-19, exercise wisdom, by using the most responsible alternative. Refrain from reacting irrational. It saves lives. Always stop, look both ways, and keep in mind, you’re not the only one on the road. Proceed with caution, not haste).

Discover Prompt Day 20 – Music

What is music? Music is a creation of sounds, harmony, rhythm, tempo, and beats in art form. It transcends language barriers, regions, ages, religions, and mindsets. Music soothes the soul, it heals, deliver, and the weary free.

Music unifies, it teaches, ministers, charms and warms the heart.

Music is a channel for love, it is a conduit.

Music is movement. It crosses universal barriers. Music is not discriminative, it makes itself home in places where others can not go. Music can travel beyond forbidden wall and restricted places where others are sheltered in …

Music is an expression of love, appreciation, individualism, and beliefs.

Music is not confined to anyone’s definition, it is an evolving evolution.

Music serenades, woos, stimulates, and relaxes the mind, body, and soul.

Music is a living organism which burrows deep in the soul.

Discover Prompt Day 19: Three

According to the scriptural teaching of Ecclesiastes 4:12, a cord of three strands is not easily torn a part. Many Christians believe Jesus Christ is the core of a marriage and the union should comprise three- the husband, wife and Christ. In the natural, a cord bonded by three strands are not easily raveled or torn a part. In marriage, the cord is symbolic of a union.

A biblical teaching is the belief in the Trinity or triune God- The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are one but serves different functions. For example, a husband can serve simultaneously in the role of father, husband, and a brother.

He does not change who he is, his function remains the same but is according to the situation at hand. He does not need to become three people. He is the same person. This concept is hard for some to perceive and becomes mystical when relating to spiritual matters.

Biblically, the number three is representative of completion. It is said, in the beginning, God said, “let us make man in our image” according to the scripture- Genesis 1:26. Let’s, Us, and Our are plural words. God did not say, I will make man in my image.

If you believe the Word of God, theology teaches the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were present. The three functions of the trinity were in operation. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Although the word trinity is not in biblical translations, but trinity means a group comprised of three people or three- (tri).

Other biblical teachings are Jesus Christ died and rose after three days (Hebrews 11:1). Jonas was in the belly of a whale for three days and three nights (Matthew 12:40). It is spiritually and holistically taught man is made up of the body, man, and soul (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

If you are skeptical or an unbeliever, you might say, I don’t believe in theology or the importance of numbers.

Like the number three has many significant events shaping the core of humanity, numbers serve a role in everyday personal life. For example, your birth month, birthday, social security number, telephone number, and house number are necessary in societal functions. They are a significant entity in your life.

Discovery Prompt Day 17 – Distance

Nothing is as distant as an estranged relationship. When the two no longer feel togetherness, the distance is unnerving. It eats at your core. The bridge between the two is hard to cross. When tension adds up to a high hill it switches to mountainous accusations.

When the lack of communication has reached its peak, distance is an enemy to any relationship. At this point, to move from a rocky to smooth place, it takes both to decide if the distance widens or closes in.

The only way around it is to gravitate back to the place of destination while trying to avoid slippery slopes. Getting to that place is not easy. The momentum is different. It might require different tools to find your way especially if both perspectives have slightly changes. If there is friction and some spots are still heated, there is a need to test the water.

Relax, breathe, listen to each other. Mountains are tiresome, they’re frustrating and exhausting. Keep a little distance between each other.

Calm down, keep moving along. Once things are settled down, it’s worth the journey.
