A Poet is not defined or confined,
a Poet is free-spirited and fluid.
Those who try to define
the works of a Poet
will find a Poet’s works have ways to evolve.
A Poet is not confined because a
Poet can find ways to escape.
A Poet will escape through a pen or ink,
in the form of words on paper or through art.
A Poet will write under the disguise of a muse,
or become infused into lines, rhymes, or stanzas.
A Poet will not conform to boundaries placed by others.
A Poet will continually transform from ink to words-
from words to ink.
A Poet will create his or her own world,
or savagely tear down walls and change the world
just to escape or be redefined if necessary.
