The Final Destination

Always galloping-

trying to reach the destination.

Often turning corners-

attempting to make the journey at ease.

Stepping high, taking quick strides,

and speed trotting-

but it seems at times,

moving forward is like moving backwards.

Gaining speed is like moving too slow.

You’re always aiming to get there,

always trying to get it right,

always thinking limiting all

the wrongs would work.

But whether it’s all in stride,

running free, or lagging behind-

keeping it moving,

reaching the end

is always a few miles away-

getting there is the race.

Spring Forward

Spring is fast approaching.

Daylight savings time draws near.

Pollen and allergens, all are signs of Spring

in the air.

Busy bees, insects and pests

are moving with prominence.

The signs of life are prevalent and

indicators c life moves on

and move forward.

So, get into the flow

and spring forward!

Renew, rejuvenate, replenish,  restore

restore if you must.

Whatever you do,

come alive!

propel your dreams.

It’s your life.

Spring forward!

A Salute to Bloggers

Bloggers do not always get their deserved recognition for providing others resourceful information. Not only are bloggers creative, they are unselfish, dedicated, passionate, visionaries, and motivators. Many are from various walks of life. They generally do not allow their cultural difference whether philosophical, political, or religious to affect the way they demonstrate transparency, candor, vulnerability, honesty, un-bias perspective, and wisdom.

Whenever time allows, take a little more time in a supportive effort to show appreciation, spotlight, comment on, or inform others of a noteworthy blog or writer you admire. After all, in the blogging community we are all in this together. We share a common cause and are inter-related more than we realize.

I’m reaching new levels and broadening my vision. Like Jabez, I’m claiming new territories in 2017. I’m aiming toward endless possibilities!

Believe in Yourself!

As I’ve become older and more self-reflective, I’ve learned the differences in self-centeredness and self-reflection. Wisdom, in time, reveals growth. Producing growing requires willingness for open-mindedness and embracing new perspectives without biases.

Reaching a place of contentment necessitates open-mindedness to achieving comfort in a place where success is measured by accomplishment rather than need for validation.

Do you have any goals or dreams bigger than yourself? You should. Keep dreaming until you see the goals you desire manifested.

What stops us from achieving our goals? One reason, a lack belief in your in ability.  You will miss the mark sometimes, but it’s never too late to aim at the target again.

Awhile ago, I heard an instructor say, “children think they can and learn they can’t.” This is a powerful statement. It’s true, generally, children are fearless with minimal reservations about their inabilities. Most children innately doesn’t have a sense of boundaries. They are trained and taught their boundaries. For this reason, a small child would touch a hot stove, unless taught otherwise.

Like an eager child, you must renew your mind to develop a sense of inner-knowing, “I can” and resist the hesitation to retreat to saying “I can’t.”

Start the renewing process of believing in your potential. You can reach your fullest potential!

Believe in Yourself! Pursue your passion, dreams, and goals!

Today commemorate a milestone for me in a career move. It is another step in the right direction.  Milestones, what are stay? They are really reminders we have moved forward in achieving goals and aspirations. They’re not the finish line.  They’re markers.

For who are milestones? They’re for us. They remind us with persistence and determination we’ve the fortitude to accomplish what we start and go beyond.  Milestones, are they necessary?  Not really. Living life in the moment is a major occurrence, but it’s  nice looking back at them and seeing hurdles we’ve gotten over. It’s nice knowing the ones we’ll face are only stepping stones.
